Publication Ethics & Plagiarism Policy

EII follows the core practices recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All participants in the publication process – authors, editors, and reviewers – are expected to adhere to high standards of integrity and transparency.

Originality and Plagiarism

  • Submissions must be original and not under consideration elsewhere.
  • All manuscripts are checked for similarity using plagiarism detection tools before peer review.
  • Substantial overlap with published work, including the authors' own previous papers, may lead to rejection.

Authorship

  • All listed authors should have made a significant contribution to the work.
  • All authors must approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission.

Conflicts of Interest

Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence the work. Editors and reviewers must declare conflicts of interest and recuse themselves when necessary.

Handling Misconduct

Allegations of plagiarism, data fabrication, or other forms of misconduct will be investigated following COPE guidelines. If misconduct is confirmed, actions may include rejection, retraction, or correction of the published record.
